Question typical menu, please review for me

HI Everyone,

I have been doing the atkins plan for about 2 1/2 months. I am doing ok, but am wondering if there is anything else I could add/delete from my diet to improve things. I read all the posts on here and everyone is so helpful. I see alot of folks on here who have lost tons of weight and some of you even at goal, so thought you would know best. Here is sorta what I eat in a typical day, of course I do vary it, but I keep the carbs always under 20. And water intake is about 84 ounces.

Breakfast

scrambled eggs (2) mixed with 2 tbs of heavy cream
a slice of cheese melted in it

Lunch:

salad with grilled chicken, or else hamburger patty

Dinner:

chicken breast baked
cauliflower or green beens cooked in butter

Snack:

mixed nuts

I was eating lots of cheese and have cut that way down. Let me know what you all think.

hi ladibug!
from what you have down, the only thing i can think of is eat more veggies, and no nuts. for me, they are a killer because i can never stop.
have you tried www.fitday.com ? it's very useful.

Thanks Brenda,

I thought maybe I should add veggies, I think I will. I know I should cut the nuts out, but in the evening I get really hungry for a snack. What use to be chips etc. I may try doing cheese and salami or something like that, a lot less carbs. I just need to watch the cheese intake.

Thanks

It sounds like U are doing well Lady. 1st let me say what my body can handle may not be good for U and visa versa. Even on induction I ate nuts and lost weight but I know many have a hard time with nuts. I have cut down on dairy products simply because I think they cause tiredness in me....Im trying to figure that one out..lol. I will list what I would eat in a typical day...It seems I take in a lot more than U and I have read too few calories causes slow weight loss. For breaky 3 fried eggs in butter. Lunch: 2 big hamburger patties with a dill pickle and slice of tomatoe. Supper may be 8 oz steak with 3/4 cup green beans. Snack at night is usually 1/2 cup of nuts or some left over meat.

Default thanks

I love the feedback on this site, lol. I love people telling me to eat more. I looked at what I had been eating and I think I could add some more food w/o it causing a problem .

Thanks ladys for the tips. i will try it and let you know wht happens.

I second that... EAT MORE! That was what immediately struck me about your menu... how tiny it was. It could make all the difference to up the calories.
