The best thing about Atkins is that if you're hungry, just EAT. Fill up on the foods from the induction list. You don't need to worry about eating too much if you watch your carbs and get them from the allowed vegetables. Added fat helps too. Butter on everything!

Make sure you also drink a LOT of water. Sometimes your body confuses "hungry" with "thirsty".

I would suggest posting your menu. What are you eating? I've found that when I eat lots of fats including cheese, mayo, and butter, I'm full a lot longer.

Eat veggies they will help to fill you up and are good for you. You are allowed at least three cups a day even in the most strict part of Atkins.

Ami: One problem might be that you're a 6 ft 2" male (unless you didn't understand how to fill out your profile info). If that's correct, you don't need to lose weight, and your body knows it.

Do you still have the Atkins book you read? Look back into it and you'll find lists of the vegetables you should be eating and what amounts at various stages of this WOE (way of eating).
