Three cups of veggies total. Either 3 cups of the salad veggies, or 2 cups of the salad veggies plus 1 cup of the "other" veggies.

However, I'm of the opinion that as long as you don't go over 20 carbs a day (make sure to count carbs in things like Splenda, cream, cheese, eggs, etc.) then you can eat as much salad as you like. Frankly, no one ever got fat by eating too much lettuce!

3 cups of veggies usually 2 of the salad veggies and one of the other list. You will find a lot of people had an extra cup most days although you still need to count them in your carbs. You subtract the fiber to get the net carb count which is what you need to keep 20 or below. You could always use fitday to keep an eye on your numbers for the first week. The website is www.fitday.com and the account is free.
