I think it's an individual thing. I know for myself- I added more carbs to my diet, and I have maintained and even lost a little weight. I work out regularly and have been lagging recently. The addition of carbs has been nice for my palate and it also hasn't affected my weight maintenance.

Hi Theshoe

The reason you lost 9 pounds last time you had tacobell may not be repeated this time!

What that experience says to me is that while you need to be eating more carbs on a daily basis. Are you still eating 20 or less? I also wonder if you are eating enough calories as well. At the moment you should be eating around 2,500 a day.

Sometimes a larger meal when you have starved yourself will trigger your body into processing your food better. Rather than thinking it does not matter if I have these extra carbs and alcohol I would look at your daily food intake and make adjustments, if appropriate.

I think this should go in the Confessional forum.
