Glucose Primary ENERGY source for brain
I have been doing research and have found article upon scientific article stating how glucose is the primary fuel and energy source for the brain
can someone guide me towards scientific documents that talks about how in the absence of glucose, the brain can adapt and function properly on an alternate fuel source i.e ketones, etc
I am doing this research because although i have had a succesful weight loss on atkins, i have had memory and learning problems since starting a LC diet
Thanks
