daikon is awesome,but....
I read somewhere on here about using daikon as you would potatos so I bought one this weekend and absolutely loved it!!! My problem is how to count it...
I have the tag off of it right here:
serving size 3 oz.
Calories 15
Fat. cAl 0
Total Fat 0
Sodium 18mg
Total cArb 4g
Fiber 8G
Protein 1g
And...my problem is counting hte carbs...Since you can deduct the amount of fiber from the carbs...does that counsel out the carbs all together???? I tried putting it in fitda but it won't let me...says the carbs have to be higher than the fiber?
I would appreciate any help on this...as this is probably gong to be a new staple in my diet....because they are awesome!!!!
Yesterday, I chopped some up small..saauted in better with just a pinch of onion...till tender ..then scrmabled two eggs inwith it...they were great!! Even fooled my dh!! Thought they were taters!!!!
