Wink What are you the most proud of?

Ok, have been following this WOE for just about 6 months. And yes, there have been a lot of personal improvement! One being, moving from a size 18 to a size 10.

But the improvement that I am most happy with, the one thing that I hated the most about myself, it the lost of that Extra Chin! OK, maybe it was getting worst than that, my double chin was getting a chin!

What improvement are you the most proud of?

AND one of my co-workers asked if I was losing weight cos my face looked thinner....

Default High school jeans

I put on a pair of my jeans I had in high school (38 x 32) are wore them all day. It was so hot outside, but I wore them anyways.

Starting to see some abs for the first time ever in my life. Looking forward to Friday to using the doctor's scale!!!

Those are two of mine.

Later,
wsgts

me too
i never really tried to diet bec I figured I'd never do it and had given in to being fat my whole life. I'm not where I was when I was 15, but have rolled the scale back about 12 years.

I am proud of the healthy example I am setting for my children. They still eat sugar and occaisional junk food, but they see that I don't, and we talk about why I make the choices that I do. It is pretty cool/ funny to see my nine year old checking the carb count on a can of soda!

I am proud to have changed my lifestyle permanently, but on the vain side, I am proud that the jeans I wore when I was thin in HS/college (115lb, size 8) are huuuuge on me now. It took a lot of protein eating and weight lifting to be smaller, but I did it.

Oh yeah, I am also proud that for the first time in my life, my butt doesn't have its own zip code. I didn't know it could measure less than 40" - that was my measurement at 13 years old. Now it is 37".

It's hard to pick one. I'm proud of the fact that I've stayed on this WOL for so long that I've lost a significant amount of weight. Because of the success I've had many others have begun this WOE and have had their own success. That feels good. I'm also glad that on Sunday I could walk 3 miles with my Dh, lift weights with my son for and hour and play racquet ball with my daughter and live to talk about it....LOL I would never of had the energy to do that this time last year.....

I am most proud that this morning I fit into a suit that I have not worn since before I had my kids years ago. It may be out dated, but I wore it anyhow because I was so impressed with myself. Also the CEO of my company gave me a hug and told me I look wonderful. I still have a long way to go, but I have not felt this good about myself in years. I feel young again!!!

.. that I have cheated only once with one small slice of my daughters birthday cake - and i didnt enjoy it since June 1st.

And then i see people who have been cheat free for much much longer and it makes me feel a little guilty for giving in once.

I am proud that I have been able to follow this woe so dilligently.
That I've been able to bypass temptations like the 1/2 gallon of ice cream sitting in our freezer right now.
I'm proud that I have found life again and am not letting it pass me by.

What I'm most proud of is that I'm not becoming discouraged when I don't see the scale move down. In the past, that would have been the beginning of a self-sabotage feeding frenzy.

And I'm willingly exercising at least three times a week. Ya'll may want to check but that may be one of the signs of the Apocalypse.
