Unhappy Help!

I have been on the induction diet for 7 days and haven't lost anything. I'm getting discouraged about this.
I am almost 60 years old and I am 5' 5 1/2". I exersize 4 times a week walking 3 miles. I'm eating 20 or less carbs a day but nothing is budging. Am I expecting too much? I'm not showing much of anything on the Ketone strips just barely a trace.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there..

Unfortunately, You really haven't given us enough information to figure out what is going on with you. The best tip I can give you is to start a journal and post your menus. Seeing exactly what you are eating will give us the opportunity to spot things that may be slowing down your progress.

Have you been a yo-yo dieter? Losing and gaining weight over and over again? Are you on any kinds of medication that might prevent weight loss? Are you eating enough?

I know for sure that it takes our bodies time to adjust to LCing and my own beginning was a bit rocky, but with patience and persistance, most of us do eventually see success.

Hi Linda,

Remember that the scale is not our only way to keep track of our health. Have you taken your measurements? If you have..have they decreased any...have your clothes felt a little looser? With your exercising it is possible you are building muscle while losing fat and so the scale won't show those improvements.

Also you might want to go to www.fitday.com and plug in a days worth of food and make sure there are no hidden carbs in the foods you are choosing.

Good luck
