Default Will CAD help my mood swings like Atkins did?

Hi!!

I've been thinkin about switching from atkins to CAD mainly because after a long time of no cheating, I find myself alawys giving into temptations( happened a lot of times). Anyways, my question is will my mood swings and depression comeback if I switch to CAD??? I'm really scared of allowing high carb foods now because doing a lowcarb plan (Atkins) has definitely helped me completely on my moodswings!!! I dont wanna screw things up. I also notice, that after I cheat I would breakout a lot. I so need your opinions on this one!!!

THANKS!!!

Since you are at goal and probably in maintenance I would think it might work for you IF you are a carb addict. Not everyone is. Take the test and find out.

I feel much more in control of my emotions, my food, everything since starting CAD in Jan.

I think being at goal makes it a bit harder to feel the need and have the motivation to stick to a very strict woe, but Cad might give you the flexibility you're looking for. You really won't know until you give it a try. As far as the mood swings, I think it would be a better solution as the "cheating" brings the guilt package with it that feeds the mood. Also, your glucose will be more stable as you won't be cheating all day, just having your RM once a day. Makes a big difference.

Congratulations on being at your goal. That's great.
