Hi All !

I am new to the forums today and have been devouring the posts on here (better than devouring carbs for sure! ) and was wondering how you all manage those times when you are not home and forced into certain eating situations? For example, when I travel for work and we have catered meals or when I go to a social event where cake/champagne/etc. are flowing without a lot of low carb alternatives....

Honestly, I am very overweight, and am really excited about finally having the motivation to do something about it! However, I don't want every co-worker, friend, family member, and social acquaintance knowing about my weight loss efforts and constantly asking how it is going . Should I just get over this or does anyone have any helpful tips? MANY thanks for feedback in advance!!
