I am trying to figure out fitday. I have attempted it several times but gave up. When entering my goals is it right to have my calorie goal of 1800? Do I use a percentage for the fat which would be a max of 1260? Or do I use the 70% somehow in fitday? The way I figure it would be a max of 1260 for fat, 450 for protien and 90 for carbs? These are all percentages based off of the 1800 calorie per day. Is 1800 about right or am I just totally screwed up?

I'm sorry that I can't answer your questions. But I'm hoping you don't mind if I add a question of my own? Maybe you know the answer already, llabonte.

What the heck do NS and NFS mean next some of the foods?

Like...

Beef steak, braised, NS as to fat eaten?

or

Salisbury steak dinner, NFS (frozen meal?

huh?

llabonte, what you are doing as far as entering the max cal/g for 1800 sounds about right to me. I don't see a way of entering percentages.

Onnix, The best we can come up with is that NFS stands for something like No Food Specified...when you select it, there are no ingredients listed as there are in other foods.

Hope this helps,
Dana

Ah ok. That makes sense, I guess. :P

Thanks, Dana.
