Quick advice to tape to your fridge:
1. Only eat the foods on the induction list
2. Stay away from sugar, artificial sweetners, fruit and sweet tasting things during induction, including soda pop
3. Stay away from nuts
4. Drink water, drink water, drink water, drink water.
5. Prepare yourself by having extra toilet tissue around the house
6. Prepare yourself to feel a bit crumby for a few days during induction. It's normal, and part of the detoxification process. It will pass.
7. Take a good multi vitamin, potasium, and a calcium magnesium mixture to avoid leg cramps
8. Congratulate yourself on making a healthy life choice
9. Stick to it even when things get rough. It will not be all good times. Getting through the rough times makes you a stronger and more knowlegable person.
