Post Just a note

So I totally know that it's not the best idea to get on the scale every day. I know that we vary daily, and hour to hour, depending on what we are doing and eating.
That said though, I HAD to jump on the scale today (two day's after my weekly Friday check in's) because I have been eating soo good! Well... I am glad I stepped on that scale this morning b/c I've dropped another four pounds from Friday!! Oh happy day! I've lost ten pounds in a little over a week. I haven't lost ten pounds in forever!
My goal right now is to keep doing what I've been doing. I have the tendency to get to a mini goal and then quit being soo good. Does anyone else do that? It is so silly. Why stop something that is working so well? But that is what I've always done it in the past. Not anymore!

Personally, I say weigh yourself as often as you like. It gives you a better idea of how your weight fluctuates. If you weigh yourself only once a week and the first weigh in is in a 'low' and the second is at a 'high' you may not like what you see. Weighing yourself often you can at least see the fluctuations occurring but can still see the general downward trend if one exists.

If you weigh 6 times in one day, you will know how things change over the day. You'll go up after getting up, even if you don't eat. I don't know why.

To get a handle on how things are really going, weigh once a day at the same time of day: in the morning without clothes after going to the bathroom.

To get a true picture of your ongoing losing, average the 7 morning readings for each week and put that number on a chart. Compare each week's average over months to see your progress.

I am exactly the same way -I have been battling for 3 wks with fluctuating about 4 lbs up and down because I will do really good during the week and lose 4 or 5 lbs then on the weekend manage to blow it and have to start all over the next Monday
BUT this week I FINALLY told myself I would do good all weekend and I have!! No cheating at all this weekend !! YEAH

I weigh myself everyday because I need to keep myself in check when I have a bad day or too high of a carb day.
It gets me motivated to eat better the next day!!

CONGRATS on you loss so far and keep it up-It is so worth it!!!
