WOW~
Hey there Asa Phelps!
Nice to see ya! Welcome to the forum.
I really think this is a great question and one that I have struggled with and continue to struggle with. I've been all over the place trying to figure out the answer, then just today it was explained to me in a very simple way by a bodybuilding guru. Dr. Squats, better known as Frederick C. Hatfield, suggests that you feed your body for what it is going to do. Not feed it AFTER what it has done. When you go to sleep, your metabolic rate slows down considerable which kinda kills all the efforts you made all day to eat low carb.
What I am tryin' to do is eat MORE during the day. Every 2 to 3 hours, I'm putting something in my mouth. I'm even making dinner early, eating 1/2 then 1/2 w/ the family, just to keep it going. It takes a lot of effort, but the pay off is enormous.
I hope this helps, and good luck on your journey!
Peace,
Brenda
