Cool Migraine causes yoyo

Hi, my name is Sandy. I've been on Atkins for years, on and off.
I maintain my weight. But, I do tend to gain 10-15 pounds easily in a very short time when I introduce high carbs and sugar to my system. I do well most of the time, knowing when to bring carbs back up. But I feel yucky when I'm not on Atkins.
My main problems is i get migraines. When I have to take strong meds for days, my metabolism goes out of control. I get down and start all over again. No one I know, agrees with Atkins. I am in this alone. Perhaps with this forum I can get some support and learn more about it.
Thanks. I welcome buddies.
Hang in there.

HI Sandy I moved your post to the newbies' questions forum - while it's not really a question, it isnt your introduction either

I used to suffer weekly from some pretty bad headaches pre LC - since my blood sugar has been stablizied I rarely reach for a painkiller. In fact, I can count on one hand how many times i have needed an advil since August 2001. Do you notice you get your migraines less when you LC?

Nat
