Default inches and lbs

Is it possible to lose inches and not lbs? when one is not weight lifting at all???

yes -- that's why its so good to measure yourself before starting -- I would only weigh every couple of months, and measure every week or so or use a pair of pants you like as a measuring tool.

You will rarely lose inches and pounds at the same time, usually one or the other. And since muscle takes up less space than fat if you are working out and maybe gain some (muscle) you can still see a reduction in the measurements.
