Talking Emotional Cravings GONE!!

Hi all!
Im on day 9 of my post Thanksgiving induction and I am so proud of myself! I had been having a horrible time with emotional cravings and bouts of anger on my induction. (Been driving my husband mad!) Well yesterday, my sweets and carb cravings were gone! I felt back to my normal self. One of the anti Atkins girls at my school was eating a McDonald's sundae in front of me and trying to temp me by sticking it in my face. It did not bother, or even temp me, which is really odd for me! So Im glad to know those horrible cravings DO go away. I can't wait to weigh myself tomorrow....I think I may have lost a few more pounds. Im trying to drink lots and lots of water. Clothes are already getting looser!

9 days CHEAT FREE!!!!

Jackie

Good for you!!!

I'm also very proud of you that the sundae-eater didn't end up in the ER trying to get that spoon removed from..... well you get the picture!

I had a similar experience with a pie-eater.. WHY do people have to be that way?

Good going! It is so nice when the cravings are under control. It also makes staying cheat free so much easier. Not only are you not tempted (usually) but you don't want to go through withdrawl again! Congatulation and keep up the good work.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback! My husband is very supportive, but the rest of my family think my kidneys are going to explode from this WOE, the way they make it out to be! LOL! Potatofree, had that girl done that little sundae trick a couple days ago, we probably would have boxed! The emotions I was going through, you would have thought I was getting off of drugs or something! Anyhow, Im glad that is over with and I think I will have a positive outlook from now on.

You WERE going through withdrawals! The first week, I would have mugged my child for an Oreo..and I HATE oreos.....<shrug> It was almost as bad as givng up the cigarettes.

I don't know about the emblem, but you can find the answer in the technical forum down near the bottom of the main page.
