Default Fitday and fiber

From what it looks like, FItday does not subtract fiber from the carbs right? Is there anyway to do that on there?

Default Fitday-fiber

I too noticed this soooo I just subtract using the chart at the top were it shows the (calories eaten today) carbs-fiber. I then add it to the journal in fitday that the actual amt of carbs= (for that day)

Hi Helen

When you look at the chart at the top of Fitday you can see both the total carbs figure and also that for fibre. To get the effective carb count (ECC) then you do take the fibre from the total carbs. However, you should note that in calculating the % carbs you are having each day the software does this subtraction before it does the calculation. That is why fibre counts for 0%.

I bought the Fitday for PC for $20 and it was well worth it IMHO. It will subtract fibre from carbs and lots more stuff.

I will definitely consider buying it. For $20, it sounds like a good deal. Thank you!

I recommend it too. Best $20 I've ever spent on software.
