Newbie Intro

Hello everyone I am so new to this I want to low carb and do not know much about it, I need to do this for health reasons I am insulin resistant and I also have PCOS, I am looking for any tips for the really new beginner I am jumping in with both feet so here goes!

Hi twodeecat,

Welcome to LC!! I would like to suggest talking with you doctor to see what he/she would suggest.

I chose Atkins only because I know I have a problem with how carbs make me feel. I read "Dr. Atkins Diet Revolution" and have never felt so good!

I have been low carbing since 12/9/02 and have lost 12 pounds.

You have come to the right place for great help and truely supportive people!!

Good luck to you on making the best choice as to which plan to follow!!
