I have a question about Fiber. What food can I eat on the Induction that are high in fiber besides lettuce. I'm eating plenty of it twice a day, but still having problems with (loose stools ALL day). I tried to eat some Flexmeal (butter pecan flavor) but couldn't stand it, it tasted like card board and water, I tried putting some butter in it, but couldn't handle it. Any advise.

Personally I wouldnt be trying to get more fiber in if you're having loose stools all day. I dont know what the daily recommended dose of fiber is daily, but I would say you are probably getting what you need!!
Sounds like you need to eat more protein, not fiber. Also cheese tends to help some with that too.
Good luck!!

lbiessen, what you want is fiber to bulk up the stool. Your best bet would be to get some psyllium powder. It's 99% fiber, so don't let the carb count frighten you. Be sure you drink a lot of water when you take the psyllium - it needs the water to work well.

You want to also choose more fiberous veggies; broccoli, spinach, brussle sprouts. Lettuce is pretty far down on the list when it comes to a) fiber and b) micronutrients

Also, check out the article under 'Low Carb Tips' on Intestinal Health It will give you some ideas on how to avoid both the diaheah and the constipation that often accompanies the start of a LC WOE.

I was having the same issue until I added spinach and brussel sprouts into my intake.
