I think sometimes a cheat jolts the metabolism, makes it very happy and it works harder!!!
I don't cheat with forbidden foods but occasionally will up my carbs for one day by 15 gm. This seems to stimulate my sluggish metabolism and is always followed by a weight loss.
This is just my theory based on my experience. One cheat will not throw you out of ketosis as long as the cheats are RARE.
