Default my favorites on atkins?

Hello,
I am currently enjoying OWL and today decided to do something different. Since I can have about 40 carbs and still lose I decided to eat 4 TGIF's quesadilla rolls. That comes out to 18 grams carb/per 4 rolls. I know it's not "natural" food but sometimes you just want to eat what you want to eat. I am going to test my self for ketosis later and make sure I am not out of it. What do you guys think about intergrating foods with carbs into our owl. Not everyday just once in a while should be ok right? Thanks.

I eat carbs every single day.

The purpose of OWL is to increase your carb intake until you find a point where you don't lose anymore. That is the "magic" number you need to stay below in order to reach your goal weight.

Are you not doing this? If you aren't eating carbs every day what exactly is it you are eating?

I think you are worried about the type of carbs you chose to eat today. Each person has to experiment to see the effect of simple carbs on their body. If you eat the tortilla things that wrap a quesedilla, you might get cravings. If you ate sugar or flour/ bread, you might feel out of control. Try to eat these things WITH protein so that the effect is minimized. That should help.

OWl gets you back toward "normal" eating. But you will probably never go badck to the regular NA diet amount of sugars and starches if you have done LC for a long while.

I hope it works well out for you. You are being aware of total carb counts and that's important.

All the best.
