Just clarifying...Increase weights more frequently, or do more reps, or sets?
Also, can I do the inner and outer thighs everyday...They are a smaller muscle group, so I was thinking that I probably could do it everyday like situps...What do you think? Those inner and outer thighs really need shaping up...
Off to the gym this morning for cardio...Wanting to get it over with for the day.

Inner and outer thigh get hit hard if you do deep, wide squats and deep split squats. I don't do ANY other side-thigh work, because I don't find it DOES anything, other than irritate my hip flexors.

Concentrate on your quads and hams. As your legs become deeper, they'll become less wide, and the inner/outer thigh stuff will settle down by itself.

Remember - you can't spot reduce, you can only BUILD. I don't want to BUILD my inner and outer thighs any bigger, thanks. I want 'em deeper instead.

Good point...I don't want to build them any bigger either...LOL Uh, ya, squats...ewwweee...K! Whatever it takes!!!!!!
Note to self...I love the squats, I love the squats, I love the squats!!! LOL
Did 41 mins on the cardio machines...Rowing x10 mins, treadmill x30 mins with some jogging involved, 1 minute step machine...yuck...don't care for that one...Because I smoke...But quitting by August 1. ~30 ab crunches each side, 50 regular crunches, and 21 inverted crunches. Tomorrow I will push for more.
Walked after gym...Hiked Mt Doug with the pups for 45 mins. Then hubby and I went to Denny's for breakfast.

You will learn to LOVE squats.

I don't know why. Endorphines, maybe? Or maybe it's just the results.

LOL I hope so...I finally got the nerve up to post some before and now pics...Oh Gawd!!!
Looking forward to lifting tomorrow...So, upping my weights by 5 lbs, and doing less reps, right? Same amount of sets? I feel so out of my league...I don't know anything about getting fit. I know I should probably get a trainer...But I have an ex-husband to support....LOL
I thank you again Built for being so helpful...You are a blessing!!!

Opted to wait until tomorrow for a workout...Ray had to work this morning, so we decided to go together tomorrow. So, I will get a walk in today, but this is really a rest day.

Gym was not open today...They decided for the summer to close on sunday's...They could have posted that last week...However...We ended up going for a hike up Mt Doug instead of lifting. It was a good workout...took us about 50 minutes...We also practiced running up some big hills a couple of times...Yay, I made it the second time, all the way up.
