Hi Cutiepie,

I was in the same place you are a few weeks ago - lost about 5 lbs the first week of induction and then....nothing! I think part of it is your body resigning itself the new program, (very scientific, don't you think?) but some things to think about are:

1. Are you getting enough water? Drink LOTS
2. Are you eating enough calories? I've heard 10x current weight (although there's been some discussion on this forum about whether it should be 10x goal weight...)
3. How about exercise? - 30 min of walking a few times a week is helpful
4. Have you measured yourself? You may be losing inches that aren't reflected on the scale.

I'm now losing 1 lb a week - I'd love to see the fat melt away faster, but this seems very reasonable.

Be patient - stick with it - lc works!
