hey tracilynn,
try not to worry about that pound. just hang in there. You're right, it's probably water. I know just what you mean. This selection gets so boring!!! I try to stay on the induction phase of Atkins and it is HARD. check out the recipes on this forum. I've found lots of yummy sounding ones today alone! went grocery shopping tonight and can't wait to try a few. Let me know if I can help.

Most definately. Water. If I weigh myself daily I'm up and down 1-3 pounds. I'd say just to prevent you from worrying, just weigh in once a week. Good luck.

I just got done reading CAD and it says that your weight can vary as much as five pounds due to premenstrual changes, heavily salted food, hot weather, etc. It suggests to weigh yourself at the same time every day and write it down. When the week is over, add up your daily weights and divide by seven. That will give you an average for the week. Do the same the next week and compare the two. If you weigh more the second week, you will know for sure that you have gained weight and it's probably not just PMS. This seems a lot more accurate to me than just weighing yourself once a week because you don't know which days you will weigh more or less on which will make it appear as if you weigh more or less than you really are.

dailey weigh ins

michelle02,

What a great idea  However, it's hard enough for me to get on that scale every Friday. The thought of daily weigh ins makes me shudder. LOL
