Diet Rite Cola in Dallas Fort Worth?

Hi everyone!
I am new to Atkins and new to this site (been on induction 1 week and have lost 6 pounds --yea!!). Does anyone know who carries Diet Rite? I can't seem to find it at some of my usual haunts. Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

Diet Rite

Hi Beverly,

I live in Irving - Valley Ranch. I buy Diet Rite at the SuperWal Mart at 635 and Macarthur. They are located next to the RC Cola. Go to www.DietRite.com and take a look at the packaging so you will know what to look for!

Diet Rite is the best, I would drink it even if I was not LC ing!

Hope this helps,

Marla B.

Is there much of a difference with Diet Rite VS Diet Coke? Is it going to matter while LCing?

Or do you guys just prefer it over Diet coke or pepsi?

Im new here BTW. :)

According to the Atkins book, you want to avoid diet drinks with Aspertame (which is found in all of your major brands). Diet Rite has Splenda and it also is caffeine-free. I started drinking Diet Rite yesterday (I am a former Diet Coke addict) and it is very, very, very sweet. It's more like Pepsi. It's a lot different than Diet Coke. I'm not exactly sure how many we can have a day, but I am guessing no more than one or two.
