Italian Sausage Soup
2 to 2-1/2 lbs Italian sausage (mild and/or hot)
1 (26 oz) Can Hunts Spaghetti Sauce (Roasted Garlic & Onion)
2 cans of water (48-50 oz.)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
16 oz. bag shredded Cabbage
1 lb. zuccini squash (quartered and cut in chunks)
4 TB chicken bouillon (or to taste)
1 TB Cumin (or to taste)
1 - 10 oz box chopped frozen spinach
Brown sausage as you would ground beef.
Add Spaghetti sauce, 2 cans water, and bouillon. Stir.
Add everything else except the zuccini. Add zuccini during last 5-7 min.
Simmer for about 15-25 minutes until cabbage is done the way you like it.
For those of you who don’t like spinach…substitute French Cut Green Beans and cut them up a little so they are shorter.
