Default LOL at radio commercial I heard...

Not sure if you all have Leann Chin's restaurants, but I heard a radio commercial this morning advertising their healthy balanced meals. They stated that we all need at least 100 carbs a day to keep our brain cells working! lol. I must be an idiot by now then. Just had to share.

ahhh, that's it, I've lost all my brain cells, no wonder I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning! They probably have lost so much business lately with everyone jumping on the low-carb wagon, you should go ask where they got their medical degree from that gives them the inside track that they have information no one else seems to have...............

I saw a sign one time in front of a chinese restaurant "We Delivery"

My friend told me the same thing. She's jealous I'm skinnier than her now! At first I was concerned because she went on about how it was medical truth! Than I started thinking about it and came to my senses. Also, I eat way more than the 20 grams of carbs a day I count because of all the fibre. I wonder if you counted all the carbs instead of the "atkins" ones, how many would we all be eating? Maybe someone who has more brain cells could answer that one? lol. Of course I didn't think of that comeback until after the conversation.

HAHAHAH! That reminds me, on my radio station the other day they said "we're your Atkins friendly, low-carb station 103.9, The Edge".

Have they checked the carb count in those words in case they have to eat them?

That is so funny, because your body makes all the glucose it needs from the food you put in your body (fat, protein, veggies). Sounds like something my coworker would say "but bread is GOOD for you".
