Default Help, I'm being stalked by the same 2 lbs

The same 2 lbs keep coming and going. I am sooooo sick and tired of them. As soon as I get them off BAM they are right back and staring at me in the mirror. What is the freakin' deal?
Anyone else being stalked?
Anyone successfully get away from their stalker?
What to do, What to do????????
I am soooo close but yet so far.
I can see my goal wieght but these 2 lbs are obscuring my view.

How long has those 2 pounds been haunting you ?
You are so close to your goal, maybe your body feels that it would rather a higher goal? They so say the last few pounds are the hardest................... hang in there

Kathy

I'm doing the same thing with 3lbs. I was so happy to finally see some weight go, and then the next week-BAM-3lbs right back on me.

I have said over and over that the scale is my enemy, yet I keep going back for more.

Default I have raised my goal

It was 115. I have raised it to 119.
I was 115 most of my life. I thought 119 would be appropriate because I still have fat to burn. I don't expect to look the same. I just don't want this extra fat.

From what I've read from other folks our size, it's a must when you get close to goal.

Maybe just track with fitday.com for a couple of days and see what you get - never hurts to journal.

i was being haunted also. i decided to really focus in on what i was eating and for a month really concentrate on everything that i was eating. i found that i was actually slacking and popping in a couple of m&m's here and there and haveing one or two of the kids fries when we went out to eat. a bite of a sundae, a sip of a milkshake. and that stuff adds up. it worked for me. i have shed those haunting pounds and a couple more.

good luck to you

Hey Hippygal,

Boy, I hear you!! I haven't lost weight in three months! And, I have not lost any inches either. Zip, zero, nada. Basically, I lost about 20 pounds in the first five months, and then reached a complete standstill.

Just like you, I see my weight go down 2 pounds, and then those pounds are back again a few days later. I've tried systematically altering specific foods in my diet to isolate the culprit(s), but nothing changes. I even started exercising again (3x/week) and still nothing. I know all the Atkins "do's and don'ts" by heart, and follow all the rules to a tee.

I am completely at a loss, and though i've tried to maintain a positive attitude in my posts, i'm coming to the end of my rope.

I wish i could offer you some advice. I hope that someone will be able to help us out on this.

I, too, am being stalked by 3 evil pounds. I was down to 153 on Friday, and this morning, back up to 156. That devil TOM is coming too, maybe he is the culprit!!!!
