Clam chowder wise....
I guess its ok in the late stages of the carb up, its around 55% carbs, 20%-35% fat and 10%-15%protien depending on the brand and style. In the early stages you want high GI foods with no fat, cause fat slows down insulin production doohickys. But in the later stages you want lower Gi foods, or foods that take longer to digest so I am guessin, emphasis on guessing, that its an ok late in the carb up food.
Another thing to watch out for is Sodium, I havnt looked intot he specifics but sodium and carb ups dont go together and one serving Clam chowder has about 390mg, 40% of your "recomended" DV. Of course one or 2 bowls aing gonna kill you, but if you stock up and do an all chowder carb up I dont think it would be good haha
