Hi there. I was looking for advice from people who LIVE or have been to the prairie provinces on great things to see and do there.

I plan on a short trip in August about 1 week to 10 days. It will be my first time past A.B. to the east.

I live in the north okanagan valley in B.C. where all the tourist come, but
I wanna get out of the heat!

I would be willing to share some secrets of my own area if your interested????

just a quick post as I'm not sure if you've left yet or not. we have loads of lovely provincial parks for camping, swimming, hiking, etc. plus regina has a science centre with an imax theatre in it. saskatoon has a fringe festival (plays, music, etc) and our fair with carnival rides is on now too in saskatoon. august 14-16 is folkfest in saskatoon as well which is a cultural celebration with different pavilions scattered around saskatoon for the different countries who are participating. there are some good tourism websites too. hope you have fun!
