it is because eggs do have carbs,

an xl egg=.7 carbs
a large egg=.6 carbs
a medium=.5 carbs
a small egg=.4 carbs

those are the values i got from fitday for raw eggs so if you entered a cooked type of egg you may have got the higher carb value.

Did you enter them as scrambled eggs? Always enter them as hard boiled no matter how you really cooked them, because fitday will assume you added milk and flour!

It could also be that it defaulted to 2 *cups* of egg, not 2 eggs.

how true Kristine!

I always look at the nutritional info for "cooked" foods....and if there are ingredients I dont' use, then I add the food as raw and add my own ingredients separately.

And if that doesn't work, I enter the food as a custom food.
