Default blood type 0 negative and carbohydrates

Hello all! I have a question in regard to the effects of carbs for people with blood type 0. I have seen a couple of comments in the forum, but nothing has included great detail. I am an 0 negative, and I am really curious if this has added to my weight problems. Any information, or web links to assist would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

Default type 0-

Hello Gem
I have been low carbing for about 4 months and having wonderful results! Then about 2 weeks ago, I picked up the "eat 4 your type" book and browsed through it to see what he says about type O's. Sure enough, a high protein diet is recommended! It's not the same as what PPLP or Atkins recommends, but similar and based on similar reasons. According to the author, Type 0's are the oldest blood type and do better on a Paleolithic type of diet....meat! I found this to be extremely validating for me.
