cream confusion
I am suffering from international confusion!
Loads of recipes seem to call for "heavy" cream. Can anyone help a poor English lass in translation?
We have single cream, double cream, whipping cream, clotted cream, creme fraiche and sour cream, cream cheese and curd cheese; does anyone know the US/Canadian equivalents of these?
In fact does any other brit know the constituent difference between these anyway?
