Question Hot sauce for buffalo wings

Hello,
I've been making buffalo wings a few times over the past couple weeks. I've tried to make my own which turned out so-so, I've used Frank's sauce (both the original hot sauce and the buffalo wing sauce). I still can't find one I like. I like them hot, even adding some more cayenne pepper to the Frank's it still isn't hot enough. Anybody have any recommendations? Thanks.

I have several different sauces I use, here is a good one

1/4c red wine vinegar
1/4c Franks
1/3c soy sauce or worchestshire if you like
1T Granulated garlic
1T Chinese Mustard
1T Black pepper

mix together and heat, I will deep fry the wings and then put them in a large stainless steel bowl and spoon some sauce over and toss tp coat the wings.

I will do extra because they do freeze well and it is always a welcome site to open the refridgerator and find a bowl of them there just for snack'n.

This is the base I will add some Dave's Insanity, teaspoon or so and or sometimes 1/3c Sriracha sauce.
You could add these to taste.
Find a good Habanero sauce like some of the Tropical Pepper companies and experiment.

I have some other recipes let me know and I will get a couple more to you, but this is the easiest so it is the one I use most often.

Thank you very much Dave. I'll give it a try this week sometime. When I used Frank's I didn't bother combining it with anything else (other than some extra cayenne pepper) as I didn't think it needed it. What I didn't like about it was it seemed more like a BBQ sauce than a hot sauce. Thanks again.

I don't usually use any butter in my sauce, but I have subbed in some Kraft Zesty Italian dressing occasionally.

Hope they work out for you, and if your local grocery stores are like mine they have an aray of hot sauces.

While low-carbing, I HAVE to have a fix of buffalo wings.
I melt butter in a pan (quite a bit) and add my favorite hot sauce along with tabasco and/or cayenne pepper... maybe some onion or garlic.
After cooking the chicken either sauting or deep frying using soy flour (that's when I think I've been good), I add the pieces to my sauce and let simmer for at LEAST 20 minutes.... most of the time longer. Serve with blue cheese and celery.

Not wing or chicken related, but I will take Franks say 1/2 C and a small amount of butter, and cook chunks of beef in until done. Beef chunks about 1-1.5".
these are really good and you can taylor the heat to your liking.
