Default Pork Rinds?

I know a lot of you use grinded up pork rinds for coatings when frying, but does it taste like pork rinds?

No, it is just a kind of "sort of crispy" coating that keeps the meat juices inside. The flavour is stronger than bread crumbs or flour. But most batter for fried chicken doesn't taste like flour - it takes on the flavour of the fat & meat.

There's also a recipe for "French toast" made with bacon rinds in the Recipe section. I hear it's amazing.
