Smile We won a makeover!
Teresa (teresamay) and I won a makeover through a local paper!!! Teresa sent in the entry with our current pictures, and the reason why we deserved it, and WE WON!!!!!!!!! I'll let her tell you what she said. We're getting all this done on Sunday at a trade show!



This is what we get:
  • Nails
  • Cut and colour hair
  • Makeup
  • Before and after pics in the paper
  • Gift basket
On Saturday, I'm taking my daughter to get pedicures done - an early Mother's Day gift from me to her. This is going to be some weekend of pampering!

I can't thank you enough for entering this Teresa! It's sooooooooo exciting!!

Yup, I wrote in that Pat and I had been working really hard to get in shape through diet and excercize - even with Pat's injury. I said we could use the boost to our confidence in our new bodies, and the end result - THEY AGREED!.

She said that we were very positive and had taken steps on our own to improve our health and that we deserved it...it still hasn't sunk in!!!!!!

I am still in shock. I guess I figured they would want the skinny ones for the makeover as it is going to be publicized in the paper - but I was wrong. WOW, now to find a babysitter - as weird as as it sounds, it will be the first time I have had a whole day to myself without my daugther there, adn that is kind of exciting too!
