Has anyone had any luck finding a no-nitrate bacon? I looked at the local grocery, but no luck. Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough, but is this stuff hard to find? I love bacon.

I can buy it at Wild Oats. They do have 3 stores in Ohio: Chagrin, Cinncinati, and Upper Arlington. Either that or look in your phone book for natural grocery stores.

Just kidding, I hear it can be very hard to find. Only a few stores carry it. But beware of the salt content... drink lots of water with any pork product.

I heard about the place from on here... I thought it was hopeless to find as well... but went to the site found out if they had one near me.. and my luck they did..

I don't really care for the nitrate bacon as much as regular bacon though... just doesn't have the same flavor... but it isn't bad at all... just my taste preferrence... also is it me ? or are the slices about 1/2 the size for 2x the money????
