Will i lose weight now that i am on synthroid?

Today is my first day back on since i got on synthroid. i hope this time this WOE works for me. i want it to soo badly! I only have like 20 lbs to lose, last time i tried it i gained 14 lbs because my thyroid was WAY out of wack. do you think that being on synthroid will make a difference this time?
I am so nervous i will gain weight with this WOE again. but i am willing to give it another try.. what do you think?

Hi Panda.
If you just went on Synthroid...remember.. it takes 6-8 weeks to affect your thyroid. It isn't a quick working medication.

thyroid nedication

I have been on levothroid for years and Atkins for 10 months and have lost 47 pounds. Its coming off slow but at least its coming off.
