Default Question about Ketosis and OWL

I have a question. I know some of you do not use the Ketone testing strips but for those that do. After you finish induction and as you move on to OWL are your testing strips still reading any Ketones. I am just curious as to when your weight loss slows down and you start losing slowly if it is still detected on the Ketone Strips or if the Ketones are too small of an amount to appear on the strip. ( Hope this makes sense)

You don't need to be in ketosis to lose weight, just keep doing the plan (Ongoing Weight Loss) and you'll be fine.

Since leaving induction (which I followed to the letter) I have always shown ketones. There have been days when the color wasn't dark purple but that is due from drinking a great deal of water. I do not check with ketostix every day, maybe once or twice a month when I think my eating may have knocked me out of ketosis. It never has. Good luck! Stan

DANDR says that after you get above 50 carbs, the strips won't work anymore. He also says that when you get close to your CCLM, they will also stop working and that there is a fine line between the CCLL and CCLM and sometimes the strips can help you determine them...as long as you are below the 50 carbs.

This is coming from a girl that is obsessed with ketosis. As I went off induction my stix still showed positive for ketones. The thing is it was always light, but it did go pink.
