Post 1 Month on Induction

Boy, if someone would have told me that for 1 month I was going to eat 20carbs a day, have no sugar anything, no real Coke, no bread, no pasta, no pizza, no white flour, no CHOCOLATE, OMG!!!
no corn, no carrots, no fruit, no potatoes, no milk, no yogurt, no chips & dip.....I would have said yeah sure, maybe for a few days.

But I went into this WOE, eyes wide shut, came to these boards every day, and DID it !!!

I read, researched, asked questions, cried, was sick with headaches, stomach aches, dizzy, tired, no energy and crabby, but I prevailed.

My reward for all this is:

15 lbs. lost
cravings for sugar/carbs have dimished a lot
no headaches for the last 2 weeks
clothes starting to hang on me
renewed energy
and most of all

I am in control and loving it.

Thanks to all of you for caring and sharing. Now on to my 2nd month.

Well Done .

Good Luck,It will work for you if you treat it as a Life change rather than a Diet or weight loss plan, once your on a roll a lot of the food that you feel you have given up can be substituted for a low carb version, you will be even be able to have some chocolate,it's just about buying the right sort.

Coffee and tea can be twitched to decafe and not every body has problems with diet coke , it's just about finding what's right for you and you will Learn as you go along.

Everyone needs happiness and it's up to you to keep yours,if you fancy a diet coke have one,if this backfires and stumps your weight loss plans ,well, there's a Lesson Learnt.

My body has Learnt that I love diet coke and it now has no problems with it.

Enjoy this Adventure and remember that FAT is your friend,Fat eaten, will burn the fat that is stored in the absence of carbs.

All the best and lots of Luck.

Smile

Thanks for the post.

I love my diet coke. However I did try the diet rite, but I didnt feel that statisfaction I get from my diet coke....what can I say I LOVE IT...I had to go back...My diet coke I guess is my fix for the day. But I do still get in lots of water and I don't drink no where near as much diet coke as I use too. I try just to drink a small glass in the morning and one in the evening.
