Hi everybody! I have been away for a couple of weeks & have TONS of catching up to do here, but just had to post and share w/everyone how my WOL went on vacation.
First week I was pretty good...stuck to my plan as best I could, and used carb blockers occasionally. Mostly ate meat & salads. One morning all that was available was Mc Donalds..and I had an egg Mc muffin w/out the muffin and it was the worst. The muffin smelled bad to me....must have been because of the way I have been eating. Anyway...on to the second week...
The second week I began to cave..slipping here and there at buffets. By the end of my vacation I was pigging down with the best of them..
I figured I had gained a bunch and would have to knuckle down when I got home anyway, so I talked myself into eating EVERYTHING..deserts..potatoes..pancakes..OMG..it was BAD!
Anyway..I weighed in when I got home, and I have gained 2.5 lbs. I am back on LCing now. Had a sirloin patty & cheese w/mayo & olives for dinner tonight. It tasted pretty darn good too! Also I don't feel stuffed and bloated like I did on vacation.
I never did the induction on Atkins..I like my 2-3 glasses of wine before bed, and have not been willing to give that up. It will take me a little longer to loose the 2.5 lbs, but I SO enjoyed my vacation..and will do the same thing next time.
Just wanted to share this w/you all. Now I'm going to try to catch up some on the postings I missed.
