Default Quotable quotes?

Question:

How do I extract quotes from people's messages so I can respond to them in my messages? I've never figured this out and I'd be grateful for an explanation!

hi missydog

In the lower right corner of each post, you'll see a "quote" button. Use that to open a new reply box, containing the message, and the name of the original author.

If you want to do multiple quotes, when you are typing your message, you can click on Quote from the selection of vB Code tools, just above the message box. Just type in, or copy & paste whatever it is you want to quote, then submit .. it will indent and format as a quotation for you.

Thanks, Missydog for raising this question, and Doreen for answering it. This precise question has been bugging me too. Hopefully, I should now be able to crack it myself!
