I started on induction last Thursday ( Jan. 17) and have lost 4 pounds already, despite the fact I went out to eat on my anniversary. We went to a Japanese restuarant and I was surprised how much of the food had sugar in it. Since my daughter took us out, I didn't want to seem ungratful so I ordered something. I didn't eat any of the teriyaki because I knew it had sugar so I found a dish that was all shredded beef with rice and vegetables in separate bowls. I skipped the rice and ate the meat and veggies. But I could tell the meat had a sauce with sugar in it. Sure enough, it kicked me out of ketosis. But despite that, I STILL have lost 4 pounds! I have also solved my constipation problem by taking 2 fiber-com tablets daily. They work better than anything else I have tried.

Woo Hoo! Keep up the good work and don't weigh yourself everyday. Dr. Atkins suggest you only do it once per week.
