Default KFC jumping on the lc bandwagon

I just saw a new KFC - kentucky Fried Chicken commercial on tv today

<scene thin guy leaning on a pickup truck - fat guy approaches

Fat Guy: wow you look good, what have you been doing
Thin Guy: <<munching on chicken>> nothing, ive been eating chicken

Announcer" KFC chicken only has 11 G of carbs and 40g of protein per serving

Nice to see they are finally getting the hint!

Sounds like they're taking the pi... er... mickey, more than the hint! Goodness only knows what they put in that seasoning to turn it from 0g per serving chicken to 11g???!!!

If only there was at least one fast food chain who took on board that what's actually needed is decent, wholesome, healthy food...

I believe they are counting eating the skin - I don't eat it cuz eating skin is icky - without the skin it would be 0 carbs

I just saw another KC commercial and it was saying it helps the low fat diet by having fried chicken without the skin! I just think they want any dieters to come back to them for their chicken, no matter what diet they are on!

These commercials just kill me. The things that advertising companies will come up with!

I'm just glad I am LC educated enough to know not to fall for these gimmicks!

I was really craving KFC. I bought a 2 pc dinner from them tonight because of that commercial. I fixed my familly spaghetti while I ate KFC. It probably isnt appropriate for the induction part of the diet. I get more relaxed with my diet the closer I am to goal. Im still being carb conscious though. I had the slaw as a side and it was good (full of sugar Im sure)

White flour, that's what! Also known as "the enemy of all low-carbers."

I just watched cnn headline news and they were talking about the commercial. They show the man eating the sandwich with breading but are saying 3g of fat without the skin. They didnt mention the low carb commercial, however. Hilary, Im from Alabama(McCalla area)

When i see those KFC commericals, it makes me very upset. FRIED chicken is not healthy. What have we learned about this people? .........and 11 carbs per piece of chicken is low? They havent changed anything about there recipe, just there advertising.

I was dieing for something different for lunch yesterday so I wend to KFC. I asked for that lc chicken. You know what they had the nerve to say? Their idea of lc is the exact same piece of chicken ONLY you have to take the skin off. I was so mad. What a bunch of crap. Don't even waste your time with them.
