Thanks for your reply, bevbme. Unfortunately I didn't measure, just weighed, last summer when I started lowcarbing, so I don't know how much worse the pot was back then. I do both weight training and a little on the stair climber each week, so I hope I'm figuring out how to diminish it. Since I started measuring, about Jan '03, pot has remained at about 35", while waist has declined to 30" and hips to 36". Other parts of me are getting pretty firm - just can't shake that pot. From reading this board, I gather I'm not alone!
