Unhappy Am I too impatient?

This is my fourth grueling day of induction. I got on the scale and I've gained a pound. I've only been eating grilled meats, eggs, and salads with no/low carb dressing. I've also been drinking tons of water. Am I just being too impatient? this diet is very difficult for me since i"ve never been a big meat eater so i really need some positive reinforcement on the scale

I'm on day 7, and feeling good, but only because some folks here suggested I go to fitday.com and start a food journal. It's really eye-opening! I would suggest it!

No...I'm not exercising (wish I was). I've already started the Fitday journal.

Just ride it out a for the 2 weeks of induction..I know it seems tough when you are not seeing any loss yet but it will come I am sure of it...You are doing great so far, following everything the way you should so it should start to come off soon. Good luck with you journey!! Take care.

i have about 100lb to lose, and when i did atkins forst time round i lost 14lb in the first week, then NOTHING for 3 weeks after that, so i stopped doing it...

BAD MOVE, if i'da been on here then i would be stick like by now (well maybe not quite stick like.. lol)..

i never drank the water, was bored of the same old food and had no confdence after the 4 weeks that i would succeed..

now i drink the water, eat healthily (if a little unconventionally) and have confidence, and the weight is coming off nicely...

this place has given me that confidence, and help and support, and this time I WILL do it...

if you are sticking to induction and are drinking the water there is no reason at all that you shouldnt lose i think..

so keep at it, see where your at after the 2 weeks and above all KNOW that u can do this...

all the best..

Tony

It took me a week before I started losing but then I lost 10 lb the next 2 weeks. So, just hang in there!
