Cool How fast is too fast?

I was feeling really good this morning about my last two weeks. I lost 13 pounds. I was talking with my husband over llunch and told him how much I lost. He got worried that it is too fast and that i might be hurting myself. So now my baloons deflated and I am worried too. I'm doing 2000 calories a day, all my water, and all my supplements. Plenty of rest (not exercising yet). Is this too fast? Or will it slow down now? What are other peoples experiences? I want to keep things on track over the next two weeks, any advice would be appreciated.

Betsy, 13 lbs for the first two weeks is just fine - if you were losing 13lbs every two weeks then there would be cause to worry.

During the initial weeks of LC you lose a lot of excess water, and some FAT. After that you settle into a slower loss rate because you are only losing FAT. 2 lbs of FAT a week is the maximum most women can lose - anything else is usually water and / or muscle.

You seem to be doing everything right Keep it up,
