Not sure what restrictions South Beach has-but if you can have protein could you have Turkey. Deli turkey slices rolled up are tasty and quick and travel pretty well in the car.

I am thinking about trying the pumpkin bake soon. It looks like it could easily fit into SBD Phase I. Good luck!

Try www.mizfrogspad.com then go to SB recipes. The mock french toast with ricotta cheese and eggs is good, tough to cook but they don't have to look good.

http://forums.prevention.com/thread...40&thread=23694 has a list of phase 1 foods.

http://forums.prevention.com/thread...40&thread=47232 this has a link for some of the diet updates on foods. (new foods allowed in phase 1)

Since cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, nuts, sugarfree flavored or plain yogurt, fat free lunchmeats and other foods are included in phase 1 I would think you could most definately find something other than eggs to eat.

You should really check out the SBD boards I think there is a link for the main page at the top of the links I gave you. Ricotta cheese and plain yogurt are both delicious if you add a little splenda and vanilla extract to them. Try other extract flavors too like maple syrup, orange or other natural extracts that catch your interest. I usually sprinkle my ricotta with nuts as well. Also tomato slices topped with a slice of lunch meat and cheese baked or broiled would be pretty tasty. At any rate hang in there the results are so worth it. I know I hated phase 1 of atkins because I hated eggs to begin with. Making crustless quiche with broccoli or other veggies I enjoy was a lot more tollerable than just scrambled eggs.
