Default Complete List of Breakfasts,Lunches,Dinners?

As a starter to Low Carbin' it, I had an idea of easily keeping a journal on daily eating. Simply, Make one large list of Breakfasts, Lunches and Dinners. With their Calorie Count, Fat Calorie Count, Protein and Carb count. Print out enough copies of this sheet to use one each day.

Then the process of daily eating would just consist of highlighting the foods that you have that day, then adding up at the end.

Where would be a good place to find complete meals w/ listings of Calories,Fat Cals,Protein and Carbs?

You can easily make your own list, add to it when you use new things, and reuse the info for the things you eat often. I do that with an excel spreadsheet. Many people here use fitday.com You register and then use the tools on the site to look up food items and create daily food logs. The trick with fitday.com is to check the measure amount it comes up with. There have been reports of things like mayo or butter (maybe not those but similar things you would only use in smaller quantities) defaulting to one cup. It's easy enough to change the quantity and have it recalulate all the nutritional info. You can even create custom foods combining a number of items.

When you track food you want to have the flexibility of changing the amount, since you may not always want to eat the same amount, or exactly the same meal menu every time.

Arrow Good Idea

Hello.
That sounds like a great idea that you have. That would certainly simplify things.
I have been on the program before w/o much success, but am giving it another go. I see the great results everyone else has.
Good luck to you.
